Introducing our Supercharged/Intercooled
Intimidator-3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS A classic all-American Musclecar!
Ever since we
spied the original Monte Carlo concept car, Chevrolet's
"Intimidator" in '98, we knew we'd someday
create our own with some real muscle to back up that look!

When Chevy released the Monte
Carlo in 2000 we loved the NASCAR-inspired image but we
were disappointed that it didn't quite have the muscle to
match - a 3800 Supercharged engine! Well, we knew
we could take care of that, and Project Monte Carlo SS was
born!

As fans
of one of the greatest racers in NASCAR history, Project
Monte Carlo SS was dubbed "Intimidator-3"in honor of #3 himself and the project took on
a serious turn this year becoming our tribute to The
Intimidator himself! For our styling edge we
enlisted the help of fellow Earnhardt fans John Streza
of Streza Autobody, and Kevin Klink of Freelance Lettering
to design the paint and decal package.
Being Thrasher Engineered
Performance, we couldn't let our Intimidator tribute
be merely a graphics package like others would do,
we had to give her a powertrain package worthy of
her namesake!
The factory production 205HP 3800 normally aspirated
L36 engine is an excellent engine as any Pontiac Grand
Prix GT owner knows, and it scoots the Monte Carlo
right along with plenty of pep and even some tire
squeal when driven hard. But, frankly, that
level of performance just wasn't enough for us.
We're a bit more accustomed to ground pounding, tire
frying raw power!
The normally aspirated 3800 engine definitely has
guts, but Intimidator-3
deserved more, she needed BALLS, and plenty of it!
What did we do? Take a look!
