PONTIAC Marketing Dept.
Grand
Prix GTX Prototype
When the "W" body platform was introduced in 1997, THRASHER
worked closely with PONTIAC on their marketing / advertising for the launch of these vehicles.
Yes, we were there from the very beginning; earning our stripes
and the trust of GM. We know the territory.
Even before the initial public release, THRASHER was already
developing preliminary mods for the 3800SC Series II Grand Prix. Thrasher Engineered Performance
IS where it all started.
The
prototypes used on this vehicle have been finely tuned over the
years. THRASHER products are proven through daily usage,
adverse conditions and the passing of time. Among these trusted
products on this GTX are the THRASHER
Cold Air Kit,
4t65e Shift Kit, Press-On
Pulley and NOS
Kit.
This
car was one of the original "pilot" builds of SLP's
GTX version of the Grand Prix and designated a Pontiac Press
vehicle, offered to various Automotive magazines including Pontiac
Enthusiast and High Performance Pontiac for marketing &
publicity purposes and shown at many car events.
